My name is Tricia and I’ve been with my husband for over 7 years now, and we have 4 kids together (ages 12, 6, 4 and 2). I enjoy reading, advocating, volunteering, photography, hanging with friends, and especially spending time with my family. I mainly write about living with bipolar disorder and how it affects all the different aspects of my life. I talk about raising a family, being married, and the challenges that are presented just by my disorder in doing those things. I also write about doing my best to try to change the stigma against the mentally ill and I do that by volunteering for NAMI and the AFSP. I also use my blog as my platform for fighting stigma in my own way. I also discuss the challenges that I face as a parent of children who have their own set of mental disorders, and how we all mesh together in our loving, sometimes wacky home!
